We're worshiping now!

Our purpose statement for this new church is:

Strangers become friends
Friends become Disciples
Disciples impact the world

MYTHBUSTERS

Starting Sunday, February 7, Pastor Paul will share a three week sermon series called, “Mythbusters.”  The purpose of this sermon series is to examine myths that keep people away from God and from the church.

Visit again on Sunday, February 14th where Pastor Paul will preach on the myth that received the second most votes.
You won't know until you get there!

If you missed last Sunday's sermon on "I believe in God, but I don't need a church", view the sermon online by going to the downloads listed to the left.

Myths about God
I believe in God, but I don’t need a church.
It’s hard to believe God is so good when so much pain happens in the world.
It’s hard to imagine God hearing my prayers when I am one of seven billion people here on earth.
I’m frustrated because God has given me way more than I can handle.

Myths about the church

I’m way too busy to give time to the church.
Church people are hypocritical and judgmental
I can’t take the church seriously when so many different types of churches exist.
The church is more concerned about its own welfare than my own personal needs or the needs of the world.
