Lent Small Groups March 4 – April 2
at Chain of Lakes Church

What does God want from me in this season of my life?  Each participant in these groups will be given the tools to answer this
question by discovering their Inspirational Intersection!

These small groups will correspond with a sermon series that Pastor Paul is sharing. The Inspirational Intersection is discovering the intersection between what God wants you to do and be and what you want to do and be. Discovering this intersection might be the most important accomplishment that a person could make in 2020!

Most of us know someone who practices another religion. They are our neighbors, friends, and co-workers. What do they believe and why? Where do we agree and disagree? Learn about the basics of Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Christianity in this video series. This series will correspond with a sermon series that Pastor Paul is sharing during January on different religions called, “Faith Seeking Understanding.”

What’s Your Social Style?
Mondays, 6:45pm, January 20 – February 17, 2020, at Chain of Lakes Church
Group Leader: Jolene Altrichter

The Golden Rule is wrong! Don’t treat others the way YOU want to be treated, treat them the way THEY want to be treated. This is the Platinum Rule and its impact is profound. Your Social Style is your preferred way of acting and interacting. Some people work quickly, others more slowly. Some respond better to data and others to stories or personal experiences. This small group will help you understand your own preferences and those of others. Most importantly, it teaches you how to recognize the behavior of others and create strong, productive relationships with anyone.
