Be a Mentor

Consider joining five others from our new congregation in being a Mentor at Lino Lakes Elementary STEM. To be a mentor you would have lunch at noon with a child every other Thursday and then play games. The total time commitment is 45 minutes. If you sign up you would fill out an application, receive training in November and start at the beginning of 2013. The other five from Chain of Lakes who are participating are John & Gloria Ivers, Justin Leitch, Val Owens, and Pastor Paul. If you are interested, call Val Owens, 763-427-9503. 

Help out at Manna Market

Manna Market is a food recovery ministry hosted by Son Light Church of the Nazarene in Blaine. Through Manna Market low-income residents of Anoka County can receive fresh meat, fruits, and vegetables. Chain of Lakes is renewing their relationship with Manna Market. We need four people to help serve on the 2^nd & 4^th Mondays of each month from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The address is 3860 Flowerfield Road. La Von Peek is coordinating this effort for Chain of Lakes. If you can help, sign up on the Communication card or call the office.
