Welcome to Chain of Lakes Church!  Chain of Lakes Church is a new church development sponsored by the Presbytery of Twin Cities Area.  What matters most to Chain of Lakes is developing a community who lives into our Purpose Statement and Core Values.  The offices of Chain of Lakes is located in the Lovell Building at 4175 Lovell Road in Lexington.

Sunday, May 19th -- To celebrate Pentecost we will be joined by members of the Presbytery’s Church Development Team and by F.O.C.O.L, Friends of Chain of Lakes. After worship everyone is invited to go to the property for a picnic and prayer walk. Leaders will then attend a retreat at Presbyterian Church of the Master in Coon Rapids.

Today we are honoring Erika Tate, whose internship is ending. Erika did a terrific job with the youth at Chain of Lakes. She also grew tremendously in her faith while she was here. She was baptized this past December and is considering seminary. She and her husband, Ryan, are moving in July to New Jersey as Ryan starts PHD work in history.

During the Friendship Time we will acknowledge a new initiative the Steering Committee is doing to encourage everyone at Chain of Lakes to participate in Outreach. The Steering Committee wants to continue to establish a culture of outreach.

Youth and children are welcome to participate in Sunday School which will take place after the Time for Children. Younger children are welcome to our child care space in the designated classroom before worship begins. That space is watched by our child care staff, Sherri Varsho.

The Steering Committee has authorized a Special Offering for May. The goal for the offering is $5,000. We are making terrific progress as so far $2,145 has been given.    Please give generously!
